Your vessel: Schooner Friendship
Sail & Fly Packages. Guests depart Abel Point Marina aboard the Schooner Friendship at 8:00 a.m on Thursday, and return to Whitsunday Airport by helicopter at 1:00 p.m. on the following day. You will be met by a crew member in front of the kiosk at Abel Point Marina 30 minutes prior to departure at 7:30 a.m.
Fly & Sail Packages. Guests depart Whitsunday Airport by helicopter at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, and return to Abel Point Marina aboard the Schooner Friendship at 6:00 p.m. on the following day. You will be met by a crew member at the Classic Sailing Whitsundays office (400 Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach) for your taxi ride to Whitsunday Airport at 12:30 p.m.
BYO drinks
Please bring your own alcohol (no beer bottles) and soft drinks. The bottle shop at the marina is open daily from 8:00 a.m.
What to bring
Bring a couple of changes of clothes, swimmers, a beach towel, sun block, sunglasses and a hat, all in a small soft bag.
Storage of baggage
Please arrange storage of your rucksack or baggage at your accommodation. Alternatively, we can collect it at the marina 30 minutes prior to departure and store it in our office for $5 per day.
Additional charge
Please refer to the Terms and Conditions page on our web site for information about an additional charge that is payable on board the boat to cover park entry and administration costs.
Stinger suits
Between the months of October and April we strongly recommend that you hire a stinger suit and wear it at all times when you are in the water. Stinger suits can be hired on board the boat.
